"They use Bafang M620 mid-drive motors, which are rated at 1,000W continuous power but actually peak closer to 1,500W of power. That means that the bikes can climb like a billy goats. When they aren't using that incredible power and torque (peaking at 160 Nm) for climbing, they're using it to go fast. I've hit as much as 36 mph (59 km/h) with this motor, though the bikes come limited to street-legal settings that can be modified in the color LCD display."

"Exciting day in the PNW, my CC Fat showed up early I am VERY pleased with it upon initial unboxing and obligatory ride around the block. The packaging looked great, all parts were included and I had it assembled in about 20 min. Got it registered and charged, what a blast! I first rode it with no battery installed while it finished charging and even with zero power the bike is very easy to pedal, and for being as heavy as it is, it's quite nimble and easy to ride. With a battery installed, this thing is awesome! Pedal assist is smooth and predictable, and the throttle is just incredible! It makes me feel like a little kid again 😝 only thing I had to do is chop about 4" off the seat so it would go low enough for my short little 29" legs, you can see its modified height in the last picture. Very happy camper here 🙌🏻"
